Hello, My name is Jack Ward, Im 23 years old. My passion for IT ignited when I was just 8 years old, The field of IT I want to go into is IT Support, I find it intresting troubleshooting issues, that have come up on a device or a laptop. Im currently enrolled at The Sand Project, where Im learning essential skills like disassembling iPhones and understanding the inner workings of mobile devices as part of my journey to further my IT passion.

I firmly believe that IT support goes beyond mere technical troubleshooting; its about problem-solving and the art of bringing technology back to life.

    I was learning about the different areas of the plane indurstry like how to make the plane hoses. The process was completely different from how I thought it was, it was wrapping fire covering over a hose then applying liquid inside of it the hose. I also got to explore at Saywell was how they process orders and pack them for the correct day. this taught me a lot about being on time and making sure the right part is being picked. I also got shown how to print the correct lables and having to check over the order and part number. I got to explore the IT department, whichc gave me a insight into how CRM (Customer Relentionship Managments) System work, it was very intresting seeing how that worked.

    My Role at Worthing Homes, it to digonize Laptops and to rebuild them with Microsoft AD and Azure. Over the last coming weeks I have been learning more about Azure and AD. I've currantly been learning about File Servers , how they benefit bigger organizations. I have learning about Hyper-V systems and how they can test out different softwares while using the Host machine. I have found that really intresting. I have also been helping out other members of the team aswell with different Laptop issues. My First Day I got asked to help out a worker with a montior issues. Which was luckily the cable. I have also had a worker come up to me with a laptop keyboard issue, with took a little while to resolve. The laptop was conflicting with an another bluetooth Keyboard aswell, which was preventing the laptop keyboard from working.

    In my role, I played a vital part in maintaining the computers, ensuring seamless internet access for both staff and students. Beyond this, I actively engaged in resolving classroom technology issues and provided valuable assistance to staff members in addressing their various IT concerns. My responsibilities extended to on-site support throughout the building, where I helped staff with a range of computer issues. This encompassed tasks such as repairing a malfunctioning hard drive and setting up additional monitors for teachers who required them, changing windows copys and installing them over the internet.
